Sprinter /ˈsprɪntər/ noun
A type of road cyclist specializing in high-speed finishes, typically at the end of flat or moderately rolling stages. The sprinter is defined by explosive power, rapid acceleration, and the ability to sustain maximum effort over short distances, often within the final few hundred meters of a race.
Positioned within the peloton for most of a stage, the sprinter relies heavily on team support, particularly from lead-out riders who control pace and positioning in the closing kilometers. Timing, positioning, and tactical awareness are as critical as physical strength.Sprinters are most competitive in bunch sprints, where races are decided by marginal differences in speed and reaction. While not typically climbers, they must endure varied terrain to reach the finish, conserving energy for a decisive final effort.

IN DETAIL
THE DIAL
The Sprinter combines a refined aesthetic with carefully considered detail.
Its dial is presented in a muted green tone, with a smooth central surface framed by a textured outer ring inspired by tarmac. Polished, faceted silver indices sit atop this surface, offering clarity and a precise, light-catching finish. Three subdials in distinct shades of purple add subtle contrast and depth.
At 12 o’clock, a triangular index filled with Super-LumiNova stands out — inspired by the flamme rouge, the iconic marker of the final kilometer. At 13, the numeral appears inverted, a quiet reference to the long-standing cycling tradition of wearing number 13 upside down for luck — a detail shared across all Grand Tour models.
A tone-on-tone minute track with a subtle “finish line” pattern completes the dial.

THE CASE
The 38.2 mm case is designed to be elegant yet purposeful - a classic chronograph size that wears comfortably even on smaller wrists. Its balanced proportions make it equally suited for everyday use and time on the bike.
Crafted in stainless steel, the case features a refined combination of brushed and polished surfaces, creating a subtle interplay of light and texture.
The pushers are designed for easy operation, while the crown incorporates our signature recessed detailing.
Turning the watch over reveals a case back with a recessed “finish line” checker pattern - a quiet nod to racing heritage - along with the individual serial number.

IN DETAIL
THE MOVEMENT
Inside the Grand Tour beats the Swiss-made Sellita SW511 automatic chronograph movement, finished with rhodium plating and decorative detailing. Visible through the sapphire case back, the movement features thermally blued screws and a custom rotor engraved with a deep “finish line” pattern.
The 27-jewel calibre offers a power reserve of up to 62 hours, combining mechanical performance with refined finishing.
PRODUCTION
ASSEMBLED IN SWEDEN
Each Grand Tour watch is hand-built in our workshop in Båstad, in the south of Sweden. Here, our watchmaker carries out assembly, testing, and — when required — fine regulation of the movement to ensure accuracy.
Every watch is built to order. The assembly and testing process takes approximately two weeks, after which each piece undergoes a final visual inspection before being delivered to its owner.
REVIEW
FRATELLO WATCHES
"Out in the wild, the Grand Tour watches look sharp yet remain playful. They wear incredibly comfortably yet maintain a strong presence both physically and visually. The just larger than 38mm diameter seemed custom-tailored to my wrist, and everything just seemed to make sense. I greatly appreciate the exhibition case backs that allowed me to watch the SW511 b in action. And the matte black ceramic coating of the case is a stark frame to the bright playfulness of the dials. And what dials they are!"
