IN DETAIL

THE DIAL

The La Vuelta III dial is characterized by red accents, taking its color cues from the red leader’s jersey of the Vuelta a España. At 12 H you’ll find a recessed red triangel, which is a nod to the iconic ”flamme rouge”, the red triangular flag signaling the final kilometer of the race.

The dial features distinct black numerals against the red circle, and when looking closer you’ll find a discreet ”racing tyre texture” as well. The matte black case elegantly contrasts the red and white dial, adding a sporty look.

At 3 o'clock you find a 15 minute counter, a 12 hour counter at 6 o'clock and a small second at 9 o'clock. The main second hand will start once you press the chronograph pusher.

THE CASE

On the La Vuelta III our Grand Tour case has received a matte sandblasted black ceramic coating. This gives the elegant case, with a classic dimension of 38,2 mm diameter, a sportier and more modern look.

On the case back you will find a recessed "finish line" checker pattern, a classic racing reference, as well as an individual serial number.

The two pushers are easy to operate and the crown features our signature design with a recessed surface.

The Movement

Inside La Vuelta you'll find a Swiss made Sellita SW511 movement, with rhodium plating and decoration. The beautiful movement, which can be seen through the sapphire case back, also features blue screws and a custom rotor with a deep etched "finish line" pattern.

The 27 jewel movement impresses with a power reserve of up to 62 hours.

ASSEMBLY & TESTING

Each Grand Tour watch is hand built in Båstad, in the southern parts of Sweden. Here we have a small workshop where our watchmaker does all the assembly, testing and, if needed, regulation of the accuracy of the movements.

Every watch is made to order, and the assembly and testing process takes about two weeks, and after a final visual inspection the watch is sent to the customer.

REVIEW

FRATELLO WATCHES

"Out in the wild, the Grand Tour watches look sharp yet remain playful. They wear incredibly comfortably yet maintain a strong presence both physically and visually. The just larger than 38mm diameter seemed custom-tailored to my wrist, and everything just seemed to make sense. I greatly appreciate the exhibition case backs that allowed me to watch the SW511 b in action. And the matte black ceramic coating of the case is a stark frame to the bright playfulness of the dials. And what dials they are!"
