THE DIAL
The frosted silver-white dial is adorned with a discreet polka dot pattern, offering a sophisticated yet playful aesthetic, inspired by the King of the mountains jersey.
The 12-hour index is inspired by the French mountain road mile markers, and the lume-filled hour indices ensure readability in low light.
The chapter ring includes an inverted number 13, a symbol to ward off misfortune still cherished by riders.
The dial also features a vibrant yellow accent in the 15-minute counter at 3 o'clock, an homage to the leader's jersey of the Tour de France.

THE CASE
Our goal was to design a case with timeless proportions, featuring a classic 38.2 mm diameter. The harmonious combination of brushed and polished surfaces enhances its sporty elegance with a touch of sophistication.
The case back features a recessed "finish line" checker pattern with a sandblasted finish, paying homage to classic racing. The two pushers are easy to operate, and the crown showcases our signature design with a recessed surface.

The Movement
Inside La Corsa Rosa, you will find a Swiss-made Sellita SW511 movement, adorned with rhodium plating and intricate decorations. Visible through the sapphire case back, this stunning movement features blue screws and a custom rotor with a deeply etched "finish line" pattern. The 27-jewel movement boasts an impressive power reserve of up to 62 hours.

ASSEMBLY & TESTING
Each Grand Tour watch is meticulously hand-built in our small workshop in Båstad, located in southern Sweden. Our skilled watchmaker handles all the assembly, testing, and, if necessary, regulation of the movement's accuracy. Every watch is made to order, with the assembly and testing process taking about two weeks. Following a final visual inspection, the watch is then shipped to the customer.

The just larger than 38mm diameter seemed custom-tailored to my wrist, and everything just seemed to make sense. I greatly appreciate the exhibition case backs that allowed me to watch the SW511 b in action. And the matte black ceramic coating of the case is a stark frame to the bright playfulness of the dials.
