IN DETAIL
THE DIAL
The frosted, silver-white dial showcases smooth dots on the background, reminiscent of the legendary polka dot patterns found on the King of the Mountains jersey, awarded to the race's top climber. The visibility of these dots varies with the ambient light, from seamlessly blending in to boldly popping out from the background.
One standout element, the 12-hour index takes center stage, drawing inspiration from the iconic mile markers adorning the winding French mountain roads. These markers display gradients, altitudes, and the distance to the summit - a nod to the avid cyclist's quest for conquering peaks. The lume-infilled hour indices ensure easy readability, even in low-light conditions.
Embracing tradition, the chapter ring playfully incorporates an inverted number 13, a symbol to ward off any potential misfortune, and a tradition cherished by riders.
The dial features a vibrant yellow accent in the 15-minute counter at 3 o'clock. Engaging the stopwatch function is as simple as pressing the upper chronograph pusher on the side of the watch.

THE CASE
The La Grande Boucle III case has received a matte sandblasted black ceramic coating. This not only enhances the material's hardness, increasing the resistance to wear and tear, but also imparts a sleek and contemporary aesthetic to the watch.
Turning to the case back, you'll discover a recessed "finish line" checker pattern, a classic racing reference, alongside an individual serial number.
The two pushers are easy to operate, and the crown features our signature design with a recessed surface.
With a neat 38.2mm case diameter, the watch sits well also on smaller wrist sizes and is comfortable both on and off bike.

REVIEW
FRATELLO WATCHES
"Out in the wild, the Grand Tour watches look sharp yet remain playful. They wear incredibly comfortably yet maintain a strong presence both physically and visually. The just larger than 38mm diameter seemed custom-tailored to my wrist, and everything just seemed to make sense. I greatly appreciate the exhibition case backs that allowed me to watch the SW511 b in action. And the matte black ceramic coating of the case is a stark frame to the bright playfulness of the dials. And what dials they are!"
